Indonesia imported 70,000 tons of billet in August, down 50,000 tons

In August, the domestic imports of other semi-manufactured stainless steel products from Indonesia amounted to approximately 70,700 tons (most of which were billets), a month-on-month decrease of 52,000 tons, a decrease of 42.2%; a year-on-year increase of 58,000 tons, an increase of 450.8%.

From January to August, the cumulative volume was about 427,000 tons (most of which were billets), an increase of 307,000 tons or 255.2% year-on-year.
