In the past two years, Shandong Province has adhered to the “one industry, one policy”, and promoted the elimination of backward production capacity in an orderly and effective manner. Among them, in the refining and chemical industry, 13 “small refining” production capacity was shut down and 10 local refineries were organized to sign capacity integration transfer agreements to promote the integration and transfer of 27.9 million tons of refining capacity and provide production capacity for the Yulong Island refining and chemical integration project Conditions, the province will withdraw a total of 11.76 million tons of local refining capacity in 2020.
It is also understood that during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period, Shandong Province has eliminated more than 28 million tons of outdated coking capacity, of which 13.56 million tons have been reduced since 2019. It is the first coke oven and heat recovery coke in the country to reduce the height of the coking chamber to less than 5.5 meters. The furnace is included in the provinces eliminated. The province has also implemented inventory management of the reserved coking capacity, issued a production control plan, and implemented coal-based production.
