Based on the news on December 6, 2022, the International Trade Commission (ITC) of the United States said that it was revoking the order of anti-dumping duties imposed on certain seamed stainless steel pipes from Taiwan, China, China and South Korea, but it was still possible to continue or restart the investigation of this raw material within a reasonable and foreseeable future period.
David S. Johanson, chairman of ITC, Rhonda K. Schmidtlein, Jason E. Kearns, Randolph J. Stayin, Amy A. Karpel and other members voted for this confirmation action.
In accordance with the requirements of the Uruguay Round Agreement Law, ITC carried out a five-year sunset assessment. Finally, ITC decided to revoke these anti-dumping duties based on the available facts, the responses of the parties concerned, and the information provided by the Ministry of Commerce.
